Nova Z(15:26 PM) :
I'm getting 502 Bad Gateway whenever I try to access ots.net. Is this the sites problem? Or is my ISP being a ****ing loser? Cause it's pissing me off.
The error message is:

Bad Gateway
The following error occurred:
A DNS lookup error occurred. The request timed out during the lookup.
Please contact the administrator.

Nova Z(15:41 PM) :
I can occasionally access the site, but after one or two links I get the error, and then after that I have to start a new browser to get anything but the error.
After I get the error, I can't even access the page I was at last by hitting back.

Nova Z(15:44 PM) :
It's not my browser or computer, because the problem persisted across a fresh install.

(He reformatted last night)

We must saveth our friend!

Okay, update.

Mozilla allows me to use the forum. So the site has a problem with IE 5.5 sp2 and all the patches.

Get crackin' laggy!!

Posted by: Canis Lupus

Hmmm, is this still a problem right now? Since it was working before the reformat, I doubt it's the server's fault, but I'll check into it anyway...

Posted by: Null Actor

It *wasn't* working before the reformat. That's almost the whole reason *why* I reformatted.

It didn't help the problem.

Your welcome!

I'm sure Nova appreciates your help AltronHGX, I know what it's like when you have a problem with your system. It can be a royal pain in the a@@!! Thanks for the heads heads up!

Posted by: Null Actor

It is *not* a problem with my system.

My system was running along perfectly fine, no changes, then the site just stopped working the other day.

And even if it WAS my system, chances are the problem wouldn't have persisted across a fresh format and reinstall.

Not to mention the rest of the web works perfectly dandy. And OTS.net works through mozilla.

I stand corrected, sorry Nova.

It's your shoddy motherboard. Admit it.

Posted by: Null Actor

Probably is. I wouldn't put it past MSI.

However, the fact that the page works with mozilla, and OTS.net is the only page affect that I've found, kind of argues against it.

get the newer IE it sucks but dont they all?

Posted by: Null Actor

Well, I seem to be able to use the site through IE today, so you are off the hook laggy...

for now.

Muwhahahaha!

Posted by: Null Actor

Well, it's doing it again, so I'm going to start assuming my ISP is a bunch of ****tards.

It's been happening with a few other sites too. Bleh.
