Video Cable Monitor Adapter

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Im not sure if thats what you call it, but do these exist?

Basically im looking for some kind of adapter that a monitor can plug into and then on the other side a standard video cable can plug into. Has anyone seen these on any websites or stores?

Hmmm, depends on what your trying to do.

If your just trying to get it connected to some funky computer connection, it should be possible.

If, on the other hand, your trying to connect it to a television source, your going to have to have some signal conversion going on.

If the latter is what your after, the only thing I've ever seen is made by ViewSonic. It's thier VB50 HRTV.

You can take a look at it here.

By standard video cable you mean a round RCA type?
For that you woulld need some converter.

Yes, just a standard RCA Type Video Cable.

Hmm...I was hoping it be a lot cheaper than $98. I guess there is nothing simple for this.

How about $31.56!

I dont think that will work. Isnt that just a composite cable?

All I want is something similar to a USB to Ethernet Adapter only its RCA Video Cable to Monitor. I know I have seen some video game stores sell that type of thing for hooking up monitors to a console video game system, but I cant find any on EBGames or Gamestop.
