Weird video card problem

I have an Abit KT7A-RAID mobo and a GF2 GTS Ti.
The video card works in every pc except mine.
Every other video card does work in my pc.
Sometimes it will work just once, then when I power off the pc and turn it back on, I only get the beeps meaning there's a problem with the video card.
I tried flashing the bios but that didn't help, it only worked once after that, it's not something in the bios settings either.
I really have to solve this soon cuz I'm almost done with playing Diablo2 on hell difficulty with my voodoo3

That voodoo 3 will outpreform the geforce 2 in diablo 2.
Anyway, make sure you bios is set to the right AGP bus speed. I'm guessing it should be set at 4x, and even if its not, it should be backwards compatible. But anyway, thats the only thing I can think of.

I already tried all the AGP settings and speeds in the bios, didn't change a thing...

I think Laggy had the same exact problem with his Abit board. Abit gave him the offer to get a modified version of the card so it would quit hanging.
Hitting the reset button after powering on may give it the extra time it needs to initialize properly. Another thing you might look into is a BIOS update. Thay may have one out by now that deals with that spcific issue.

The reset and bios update don't work, already tried it
Anyway, I now have the option of changing my mobo to a Epox 8K7A+ (again ), so the problem is probably solved.

I doubt it's the mobo Ion - I'm using the same one as Boo is with a GF2 and I had no problems..

If it is beeping then the card is not seating right. When you insert it in the board see if it is binding or linded up right. You might have to loosen the screws a bit and reposition the mother board to get it to seat right.

Spider, it wasn't just any GF2 that doesn't work, only
the GF2 GTS is a problem, MX's work fine.
I tried another card (same as the other, except it wasn't a Ti version) and that had the same problem.
And it was seated right, I even took the metal thing off (the one you screw to the case), there was no way to get it in better than that.
I've had at least 5 other cards in it too, they all worked fine, it's just this one that's a problem.
