Windows 98 SE
MS Intelli Mouse Explorer
Whenever I use the middle button of my mouse in IE i get this error.
EXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in

Well, your right about one thing, IE does in-fact suck.
Do you have the latest Intelli Point software?

yes IE does suck, but its still better than netscape, which has been nothing but crap after netscape 3.
But that's irrelevant.
IE isn't your problem. IE uses a file called iexplore.exe, not explorer. I'm not quite sure what explorer is other than its a program that needs to be running for windows to work right. Whenever it crashes on me, my system tray goes blank, and its not long before everything gets royally messed up and I have to reboot.

Are you having the inteli point program start up with windows? I know someone that uses win98 and an inteli explorer and they have no problems.

Indeed. But you see, Explorer, and IE, are one and the same. You can't have one without the other.
I'm running point32.exe in the background (intellipoint software), since I don't like little mouse icons in my taskbar.
