ZoneAlarm 3.0 causes problems with D2:LOD.
Diablo 2 : Lord Of Destruction refuses to load after ZoneAlarm 3.0 is installed and loaded.

I have found 2 not so good suggestions

Suggestion #1
1) Uninstall ZA 3.0 and install ZA 2.6 and lower

Suggestion #2
1) Shutdown ZA 3.0 from System Tray
2) Run Diablo 2
3) Reload ZA 3.0
4) Repeat as necessary

Can someone pls help to contact ZoneLabs or Blizzard? Any patches? Any better suggestions?

Please contact me at core1000.geo@yahoo.com

What do you mean by "refuses to load?" The game won't load at all, or you get an error message, or you can't join games when online...

I don't think it's a direct conflict that's inherent in ZoneAlarm.. I've run the newest version of ZoneAlarm and D2:LOD with no problems whatsoever...

If you're getting an actual error message, please post it. It would also be helpful if you could tell us your system specs (operating system, etc).

Read this and you'll understand

Diablo 2 just doesn't run after you double click on its icon.

Ctrl+ Alt+ Del shows Game and Diablo ii components.

I'm sure it's not the system specs problem, rather many players are having this problem.

Hey, don't know if you still having problems, but my solution may help you. Go read the post on my problem, and the solution. It was all about zonealarm.
Good free program, it just doesn't get along with DII very well.
