HBO Violence

I was recently watching HBO sunday night and they had a prison documentry story about life in prison. They explained how it was so racially divided and how you have to defend yourself, etc. They showed a real live tape from a security camera of a black guy getting stabbed over and over again. It freaked me out so much. There was a black guy getting stabbed helplessly by a white guy and another white guy holding him down with blood everywhere. They showed him getting stabbed over 70 times (Thats the number I think they said). It was disgusting. I know my parents pay extra for this channel but who would want to see that?

I dont get HBO for stuff like that. I watch it for the movies and occasionally the Sopranos.

You sure this wasn't "OZ", Fenix? Coz if it was, it's just another TV movie ...

The same applies to HBO that does with most entertainment items/shows and what not. If you don't like it, don't watch it.
HBO is one of the few pay channels I actually like. Yes they have had some pretty graphic documentaries on it, but a lot of people find them to be interesting. I could do without the blood and guts myself as I've seen more than my fare share here at work.

No it wasent Oz, Ive seen Oz Before. This was real. They interviewed the guy that got stabbed's brother. It was really depressing. But thats what the channel changer is for. Another disgusting show is real sex. I hate that show some of the stuff is really disgusting on it. I only like HBO for the movies

A few years ago they had a show about animal treatment that was pretty morbid. Showed a cat market overseas and how they prepared the cat. Was pretty graphic.
Yeah Real Sex was lame. I'd rather be doing the real thing.
I always liked Autopsy, but not for the graphic nature it had some interesting stuff in it.

aye autopsy is interesting, but at times some of the crime scene photographs are a bit much. but then again my sister watches all those 'truama in the er' shows (shes a nurse) and ive decided its a lot worse when they scream

Well the crime scene stuff they show on autopsy is kind of mild.
I'm an administrator for my local Sheriff's office. I've seen a lot of things here that really makes you appreciate what these guys and gals do for us each and every day.
I still find that kind of stuff disturbing, but after seeing a lot of it you get desensitized.
