Which of these games would you be buying next month?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Canis Lupus

The good games are starting to roll out ... have you saved enough money to buy them? If so, which ones would you likely buy?

Posted by: Kdr Kane

Not me.

I choose to see how the games are received by the public first.

Posted by: SKYHN

Dungeon Siege for sure.
Possibly Jedi Knight II.

I need to save up for some Ram though.

Posted by: Kdr Kane

Something doesn't add up.

Posted by: Spider

I voted for Jedi Outcast, Dungeon Siege and Morrowind. However I'm not so sure I'll be getting them anymore, I should be saving up my cashmoney for the trip to L.A.

Posted by: Bobaroo

If I have the money I might get Jedi Knight II.

Hehe, that's coz multiple votes are enabled .... in that screenshot, someone voted for two choices

Posted by: Nfested

I am not buying any games this month. I am saving my money for future games.

Posted by: Kdr Kane

Doh!

Posted by: Xtren

I'd say a good choice would be Dungeon Siege. It looks like a good game even though it is hack&slash based.

Posted by: Outlaw

Maybe Dungeon Siege, I'm gonna try it first though, I don't want a sucky Diablo2 wannabe (and yes, I actually like D2 ).

Posted by: Xtren

Yeah I hope it's not like Diablo II. I hope it's original and has a better story to it. The screenshots do look pretty good though, so I wonder what the gameplay is like.

Posted by: Spider

The cinematics in Diablo II are it's only redeeming quality.

It needs to die. But Half-Life first.

Posted by: Xtren

Half Life is only so popular because of all the mods. If not for them the game would have been dead ages ago.

Posted by: Spider

The mods need to die as well.

Posted by: Xtren

Yeah, they're still so darn popular though. On the other hand they are getting old so people will stop playing eventually.

Posted by: Ion Silverbolt

I think after people play Dungeon Seige, they'll drop D2 like a bad habit. D2 is the worst sequel I have ever seen for a game.

You just wait for TF2.

Posted by: Tecil

Got my call last night that my copy of Jedi Knight II was in, going to pick it up this morning. I have Dungeon Siege pre-order also.

Posted by: Xtren

I think NeverWinter Nights is going to be a great game as well.

Posted by: PhantomGamer

i won't get any of those but maybe some others i don't know

Posted by: Fink

I might buy DS off of pepsi, but im not sur because he said he had lag problems, and my ping is worse than his, so i my comp. But i still might get it.

Posted by: Xtren

It's a great game, I'd recommend it.

Posted by: Storm_Shot

I'm definitely getting DS, and probably Neverwinter Nights too...when I get some $$ that is

Posted by: Xtren

I'm 97% certain the NwN is going to be better than DS, I bought DS myself and it was awesome, therefore I'm deffinitely buying NwN.

Posted by: Spider

...

lol

Posted by: Null Actor

Morrowind tomorrow. Yay!

Posted by: Nfested

I'm positive that i'm not going to buy NWN. I read about it and I don't like it. I have to try it out though before I can see if it is really bad or not.

Posted by: Xtren

It's going to beat out BG2 easily, so if you're a RPG fan it only makes sense that you'll want to buy the best RPG of all time.

Posted by: Nfested

I'm of fan of console RPG's, not PC RPG's. Balder's Gate (the first one) was a good game though.

Posted by: Xtren

I love console RPGs as well, but what is different between them and PC RPGs apart from the use of a controller?

Posted by: †Pr|§M†

/vote none of those games

/vote i like cheese

Posted by: Xtren

Maybe you shouldn't vote unless you have something good to say.

i would vote if that were an option...but since it isnt ill voice it in a post.

Posted by: Xtren

I didn't mean to offend actually, it just sounded that way.

Posted by: Seijin

I will probably wait until the games come out and what people say about them.

Seijin

Posted by: tkron

Well Based on the date of this poll I answered wrong. I did buy DS and I liked it. There is a demo version of DS for those that wish to try it.

Posted by: Xtren

Yeah it's on the official site, pretty big actually. Do you know if it is actually a multiplayer demo, or does it just have some singleplayer quests?

Posted by: EddieJ300

I'm looking foward to Dungeon Siege. I have really enjoyed Diablo II and LOD.

Posted by: The_Turks(ff7)

not gonna buy any of them i still have to by a few psx games that i have been meaning to buy for like 2 months

Posted by: Xtren

I bought Morrowindfor the Xbox earlier today, I know the thread has long expired but Morrowind was one of the games on the list and I'm pretty sure it's the one I voted for. I'm going to try the game out later on tonight and see if I like it.

Posted by: WD40

I don't buy any new games, im too cheap.

I just wait till they go down to bargain basement prices at Kmart for like $5 each (thats how i got warcraft 2). Of course games that cheap are cheap for a reason, lol. And itll take 5 years for the new ones to go that low.

Ah well, thats what I get for being a cheap you-know-what.

I barely got sc and d2 this year, hehe, at low cost

Posted by: Xtren

Games don't seem all that good anymore when they are old, because then there are new games to look forward too, and you don't want the old stuff anymore, which everyone you know stopped playing.

Posted by: Chako

What?!?!?

Some old games still rock because they have game play which many new titles are lacking. True they don't have the eye candy that the newer titles have..but graphics do not make the game.

And because of this, there are still many gamers playing those old games, you know, the ones nobody still plays anymore.

Kid-at-Christmas Syndrome.

Posted by: Canis Lupus

X-COM gameplay alone is better than any of the current crop of games combined...

Here here. I had never played it, then PC Gamer put out a disc with 10 of the best old games of all time on it. Had me hooked right away.

Posted by: Aufs.Hunter

None because i probably wont have any money

Posted by: mklangelo

Battlefield2 should be on the list!
