I admit, it does sound appealing to think about the life of a criminal to me. But not murderers. Professsional thievery sounds like it has an exciting appeal to it. Steal from the rich, give to the poor type thing.
Serial killer admiration is different though. I think it's just a way for people to look tough or something.
