The Matrix is my all time favorite movie. Does anything even come close? http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif

Stargate SG-1 is my favorite TV show. Star Trek Voyager writers could take some good lessons fromt that show..hehe It's well written.

hehe

well, The Matrix was awesome, so i'll go with that one. i'll hafta agree with laggy on Dune and The Star Wars Trilogy as well. also though, i'm gonna hafta add BraveHeart.

i don't watch much syndicated stuff so i'll go with Highlander: The Series in that category http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif

hehe Braveheart was No.2 on my list. So far that and the Matrix are the only DVD's I own..hehe

Posted by: Canis Lupus

Hehehe, I would have chosen The Matrix and Braveheart too, but they're not quite old enough to be in my "unforgettable" list ... if you noticed, the newest movie in my movie list was 12 Monkeys ... and what year was that?

Hehe.....
Highlander the series without a doubt. I watched every episode at least a dozen times.
Voyager is good too, but the writers just didn't do anything new with it...
As for movies Star Wars Trilogy is hard to beat.
Maybe there will be a "Wheel of Time" mega movie, it would need to be about 24hrs long though, but I would watch every minute of it. While I'm on books I'd like to see made into movies, has anyone ever read "The Predators"? It is a relly good suspense novel about a man between the law and the mob. Plus an extra twist that really makes the story original.

I'm also a Wheel of Time buff (altho Path of Daggers kinda sucked), and it would be kewl to make it into a movie of some sort.

But we'll be getting the next best thing next year - The Lord of the Rings trilogy will start on late 2001 with Fellowship of the Ring ... now THAT is something I'll be waiting for http://www.opentechsupport.net/forums/smile.gif

can't say i'm much of a tv-watcher, but as far as movies go i'd probably say matrix or dark city (surprised no one else put it on their list - quite a quality movie).

Posted by: Canis Lupus

I watched Dark City ... very good and very dark movie ... but like the Matrix it hasn't "aged" enough for it to be in my favorites, hehe...

Acctually yes I was. I know it has a crappy story line but I rarely look at storylines. I was interrested in the mechanics of the robot. The infered seeking. etc.... Stuff like that keep me interrested. I espiacllay like Terminator's FX.
