Installing a printer killed the machine

Some one has just asked me to have a look at the PC, at the weekend the purchased a epson C60, they connected it to their machine and now their machine will not boot just bleeps (dont know the exact squence), this is a relativly old machine. when they removed the printer the machine continues like this. any ideas what teh probelm is, I'm going to go up and see later.

without kowing the beep code ur getting and the bios type or computer model there is no way to guess. but the most comon thing with older comps that stop working is a dead CMOS battery. by beep code i mean how many long beeps how many short beeps and what order.

I asked the owner what the beep code was and she didn't know so I'm going to have a look later

The video card had become unseated somehow so I simply reseated this and all worked
