Should they Restart d2?

Man with all these iths and bugged items, it really makes the game not fun. There is so many problems with d2 as evryone knows. And evryone scamming and stuff. IS there a way they could do like a month rollback>?> I know a whole buncha people would be pissed, like myself. But wouldnt that fix d2s problem, and before they do the rollback fix all the bugs.

They would have to do more than a month rollback. It would have to be a roll back all the way to June.
But even that cannot help LOD now. It has been dead for a long time. Its like digging up a corpse and trying to bring it back to life.

you realize with any type of rollback there is a chance to dupe? and a rollback from a month ago would take all their work of deleting dupes straight to the garbage?
even resetting the ladder would do nothing, the whole 72 hours it took people to lvl to 99 is probablly shortened now.

Ok, so not a month rollback. What if they just started over. Refresh all the servers and everything. Just start the whole damn thing over again. I know i would be pissed, i have 1 of every eilte unqiue 1.08. It should be a price to pay. Its the only way to straiten the crooked path diablo has taken. Either that or release diablo3 already  .

Because than you have only legal items in the game
So then it will be more fun to play

they should just shut the closed realms down and tell everyone to play open so they dont have to waste time fixing things just so another thing messes it up

You read my mind! I was just discussing that with someone earlier.
Im sure blizzard would love to have that extra money it costs to run the D2/LOD realms.

That would be a good idea..... But what about the poeple who dont want to have hacks or dupes... They should just restart all closed realms. Start over. That would fix there problem now wouldnt it.!

No matter what blizzard does, there will be new hacks.
The only way blizzard could make it super secure(with minor chance of hacks) would be to make the game force full screen mode(some people play it windowed), do not allow task switching while the game is open and switch to a MMORPG server type. Thats how MMORPG's stop hacks, and it seems to work pretty well.
Of course that kind of server setup costs a lot of money to run since the players NEVER send information to each other, only into the servers.
