Ok, this picture is when they both just woke up or something, I have no clue how the one got under the covers and seemed to have built himself a little bunker, brilliant idea though, seeing how whenever my sister spots a cat she picks it up and annoys it. She couldn't find him... brilliant....

Heres me lizard, hes a Savanah Monitor, hs about 8 months old, hes about 2 1/2 feet long, supposed to grow another 1 1/2 - 2 feet with in the next 2 months

hehe i got about 6 cats in my house, 2 dogs, 5 ferrets, 7 diahus (south american squirlle, 2 aquariums full of fish, 2 hamsters, 1 lizard thats all.... i think
BTW i live in a BIG 7 bedroom, 19 room house so, theres lots of room

Nope they naturally glow bright satan red. Sometimes they start levitating stuff in my room at night, and I have to go shake their cages until they back off.

no, i mean ignore the walls, the pile of clothes is just clothes from this week i havnt washed yet, the bag is my lizards bedding, need to change it this week,
theres a few other random things on the floor, but my room aint very messy, i cleaned it up 2 weeks ago

I just added 3 cat pictures and 1 dog picture.
These were all taken with my digital camera and down-sampled to 800x600 for this purpose.
Here are 3 pictures of my Cat (Sabien), about a year ago, and one of my Dog (KoKo) who just passed away a few months ago. I post it here because I love this picture. If you look closely in her eyes, you can see me, the photographer.

That's strange. What kind of turtle do you have? I know keeping the water around 82 degrees is optimal. Mine only basks after a big meal. If the water is too cold, they tend to bask more often.
A UVB bulb makes a big difference in their behavior too. Kind of expensive but worth it.

Um...do you know anything about digital cameras Swilo?
I was taking a picture of him, he was about 3 feet away, when he decided to check my camera.
Cats are very quick...quicker then most digital cameras. There is a noticable lag time from when
you press the button, to the time it takes a picture. My cat was quick enough to go from sitting
nicely to right in front of the camera...when the flash went off. It was such an interesting picture I
decided to keep it. You make it sound like I purposely like jamming cameras right in the face of
subjects..... ^^
As for the grooming...those where taken when we first got him...from the animal shelter. He looks
much better now.

Yes, I know a few things about cameras. There was no way to tell what happened from the picture, other than the camera was in the cat's face, sorry if I made you out to be a bad person.

We have another Siamese cat named Loki, who was Whitecat and Jinx's mother. We started calling him Whitecat after he was born because we were not going to keep him, but he ended up growing on us, and the name stuck.

Ok..just added 3 new cat pictures
These were just taken minutes ago in my kitchen. I have a garden door and the sun was coming
into the kitchen area. Sabien is on the table..soaking some of that sun in.
The first picture, his eyes got crazy by the sun streaming in. Did not need flash.
The second picture has no sun hitting him. Used flash.
The third pictures is in the sun again, and he meowed for the camera. I like this one...its kind of
moody. Because of the sun and bright lights..no flash was needed for this one
You can see that he has changed colour, and that he is much bigger now. When we found him at
the pound...he was undernourished, hadn't seen a brush in a long time (Those first pictures, we
had started brushing him for a few days before those where taken...he was so bad...he could not
walk due to the fur being all knotted up).

Yeah like most reptiles, they can be salmonilla carriers. They are also deceptively harder to take care of than most people think.
1. Proper Diet
2. UVB lighting
3. STRONG filtration
4. 80-85 degree water temp.
90% of pet turtles die the first year. Usually from vitamin A deficiecy, shell rot from lack of UVB, or too low water temperature which increases their chance to get sick.

yeah, a friend of mine had a ferret and we saw something on TV about them in CA, those things are pretty much just miniature cats from what I can tell.

Ferrets are rodents, very cute. I love ferrets. Do you love ferrets? I wanna own ferrets, or at least work at my dad's pet shop.

Ferrets are mean, smelly rodents. Really they don't make very practical pets. They're more for pet enthusiests rather than the casual pet owner.

They're for anybody who likes their pets, rather than people who want minimal responsibility. If you want that, get a dog.

All the ones I ever saw seemed to enjoy lunging for a bite of face. Either way, they are just a high maintenence pet as you said.
The sad part about some exotic pets is people see them on TV and think they're cool and then buy one without considering what it takes to care for them. Ferrets are such a pet. They can be cool, but it takes some studying up and patience to be a good pet owner.
Aquatic turtles are that way. Some people buy them and put them in a tiny bowl with little water and then wonder why they die after 2 weeks.

a long time ago, when i used to live with my mother, we had, at the height of chaos, 22ish cats and 9 dogs (dog recently had puppies at the time)
i have to say 22ish cats because its really hard to get an accurate head count when they're all outdoor cats and you cant figure out who you're leaving out
you'd wait till most of them are inside and start going over the names like squeaky, boycat, tancat, speckled cat, siamese cat, mean cat, sam's buddy, etc
when you have that many cats you just name 'em how they look for your own sanity rather than try and say you saw "thomas" doing such and such thing
and then the response you get is "which one is thomas?" so it really saves some time to just narrow it down to "speckled cat"
it was really a sight to see when my mother would go out walking the dogs and there would be 15+ cats following along too - you'd expect to see that in a movie or something
back in the day, i could do twenty minutes of stand up relating the story of the 44 eyes alone, but i lost the script long ago and its almost all forgotten :\
i actually had some pictures of the horde, but guess what happened to them
the cats/dogs got ahold of them :/
ah well, here is the only cat picture i have on my hard drive currently

Ha! Bob, sounds lIke a true story about one of my Great Uncle my Parents told me about on my mothers side. I never knew him, but I don't doubt the story in the least.
Anyhow, after having 14 children, the Uncle could not remember their names..so he called them a number, So #1 would be his first, #2 his second...etc...
I cannot imagine how it must have felt to grow up as #7 to your father.....
