Well, I actually do make coppies of stuff I own (so I dont damage the original coppies of my rare stuff) so I'm all for fighting this.
A question- is this thing really going to happen (coppyright protection)? The article made a good point in bringing up the introduction of VCRs. People are making a big deal out of this issue and I'm just wondering how close this coppyright protection is to becoming a reality..

I think the Heinlein has said it best when he wrote this in Life-Line:
"There has grown up in the minds of certain groups in this country the notion that because a man or corporation has made a profit out of the public for a number of years, the government and the courts are charged with the duty of guaranteeing such profit in the future, even in the face of changing circumstances and contrary to public interest.
