Ex-Cisco VP Found After Trying to Commit Suicide

Robert S. Gordon was found in a hospital after trying to commit suicide apparently fearing being caught after embezzling millions of dollars from Cisco. Here's a snip from the story at Silicon Valley:
Frail and confined to a wheelchair after nearly killing himself in a Santa Barbara apartment, a former Cisco Systems executive appeared in a San Jose federal courtroom Wednesday, ending a mysterious month on the lam eluding charges that he stole millions of dollars from the networking giant.
Robert S. Gordon, the subject of an FBI manhunt since early April, turned up late Sunday in the psychiatric ward of a Santa Barbara hospital, where he had been recovering from a suicide attempt. Gordon was found unconscious April 30 after ingesting a combination of drugs and trying to asphyxiate himself with gas from an apartment stove, according to court records filed Wednesday.
Gordon is thought to have obtained nearly $20 million from Cisco. He had been on the run since April 5th after skipping out on bail. Read more here.
