Sun To Use AMD's Opteron

The Inquirer is reporting that Sun Microsystems will use AMD's Opterons:
But on my travels I met someone from Sun Microsystems who tipped me the wink about the "close connection" between it and AMD.
He told me, and said that I should keep it quiet, that Sun will definitely use Opterons when the CPUs formerly known as Sledgehammer launch.
Better than that – Sun will sell boxes containing multiple Sledgehammers under its own brand name.
If this does indeed follow through, this is a huge achievement for AMD. Support by a large, well-known, retailer is what AMD needs to gain more of the market from Intel. More information on the reason for Sun's use here.

More companies seem to be jumping on the AMD Bandwagon.
Dell made some statement a little while ago that strongly hinted at that they will be selling AMD Processors in addition to Intel in the future.

Fat chance of dell doing that. Dell gets a sweet deal on intel chips, and they wouldn't screw it just to sell AMDs.
However, the idea of big companies going with AMD's 64bit solutions bodes well.

sounds like more trolling for readership with "some mysterious person revealing this info" of course the reporter cant reveal the identity of this superhero or the villains will kill the entire family or hold em hostage... news stories good or bad unless they have a reliable first hand spokesman and do not rely on some mysterious unknown person who cant be named are merely nothing more than fairy tales designed to try to boost readership.
