NEW YORK (Reuters) - Video game publisher Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. said on Tuesday it is preparing a sequel to its blockbuster "Grand Theft Auto 3" for release in late October, following on the success of a game that dominated U.S. sales charts for months.

"Grand Theft Auto: Vice City" will ship to retailers on Oct. 22 for Sony Corp.'s PlayStation 2 game console, Take-Two said.

More details about "Vice City" are expected in July, the company said.

This is good news for all you GTA fans out there!

Cool, another GTA game.

I don't know if it can compare to GTA3 though, because that was just a great game.

Why is that better?

Posted by: SKYHN

Because its PS2 Exclusive thats why. Now I dont have to see those damn posts all over about "GTA on Xbox".

We've already figured out that it's an exlusive... the question is: Why is it being an exclusive better?

Posted by: SKYHN

I just said why it was...

Now I dont have to see those damn posts all over about "GTA on Xbox".

And you know I dont like Xbox, so thats the other reason.

twas for the better, I presume

I really cant get pumped for another GTA. I really cant see too many ways to improve the formula (Im sure there are quite a few little nit-picky things, but the major structure game will no doubt stay the same).

GTA online could be a damn blast though.
