I have training info on my computer. How do I record it to video(using my vcr). I can get the picture to show, and I can get sound from my av receiver. I just can't get any sound if I try to record. What am I doing wrong!?!? Could my vcr be the problem? It is one of the ones that you can get for $50 to $60. I need help!!!! My job depends on it!

Please list the equipment you are using. Include the video card, VCR, AV Receiver and what types of cables you are using (RCA, RF, etc.).
If you are using specific software for the capture, list that also.

I am using my dell 900mhz, a nividia graphics card w tv output, the sound card cam with the compuer, I am running the video direct to my vcr(symphonic) using a av cable, the sound runs to my jvc receiver. I can hear and see everything. When I try to record I get only a picture and no sound. I could run the sound direct to the vcr and it doesn't work. I thought about using the receiver as a converter but it doesn't work. HELP!!!!

Try running the sound through the VCR, then into the reciever.
