HELP!
Can anyone tell me where to connect what??!? I HAVE A klipsch promedia 5.1 sound system along with the audigy platinum. I'm running windows xp, have 2.2 ghz, 512 rdram, radeon 8500 dv, this info is probably irrelevant, but i need help setting up my sound system so all my satellites get sound, i'm only getting sound out of the front and rear (left and right) satellites. I NEED CENTER CHANNEL ...all right, hope you guys can help..

I believe you can only get sound out of the Center Channel if a game supports it.

you generally wont get sound from the center channel. dont worry about it.

The best way to test if your 5.1 is in working order....get a DVD, set your speakers to surround mode. site back and enjoy.

i just wanted to know if i had the plugs in the right places. anyone with same or similar setup w/ audigy card plz help

Where is your Audigy manual? This will show you where to physically hook up your speakers. Furthermore, you need to enable it in software by going to

Start ----> programs ----> Creative ----> Sound Blaster Audigy ---> Surround Mixer (you can then change the speaker set up to 5.1, and even test them to see if they are working by pressing the test button)

See the thing is i can't even set that up anymore. The box is shaded grey and i can't choose any of the settings and i get errors everytime i try to start audiohq...wtf is wrong with my comp?

Try uninstalling the sound driver and then reinstalling it. You might even want to try the latest driver for the card from Creative. I think they have a newer SB Audigy driver out for XP.
