Running Tie Fighter CD in WinME

I recently came accross my old Tie Fighter CD and now Ive got an itch to play it. But I cant seem to get it to work right. 
I cant get it to recognize my sound card in Windows. I have a Soundblaster PCI 128. I tried configuring it using all 4 of the soundblaster options and it would not work. I also tried playing it with a Windows Boot Disk but I still had no sound and the mouse would not work.
Can anyone help?

If it's the dos version, you'll have to find and load dos drivers for your soundcard.
