Just days after its release to testers, the DX9 runtime web installer has been leaked to the 'net. This new DirectX Web-base setup application installs the same application that was leaked a few days ago. This installs on all supported Operating Systems and minimizes the download size to only the DirectX components your system requires. DirectX 9 Web installer requires:
- Microsoft® Windows® 98, Windows Me, Windows 2000 or Windows XP.
- Does not support either Windows® 95, Windows NT 4.0 or Beta version of New Operating Systems.
- Internet connections.
- This is for English only.
- The DirectX runtime files cannot be uninstalled. This is a beta and it is important for you set a "System Restore Point" before installing the runtime. View your Operating System’s help files for more information.

*Remember this is in beta form! So use caution!
