I rank it 2nd to 2000. I use XP at home because my games run a lot better on it than they ever did on 2k.

That precisly, is the only thing keeping me from going back to 2K. If it weren't for the Need for Speed series, I'd be on 2K right now. 
I guess I can't have my cake and eat it too.

Agreed. And really the only difference I discern between the two is the GUI. Sure, XP is a little more bloated with "features" than 2K, but it gets the job done just the same for me.
There's no way XP can be labeled the worst piece of anything from MS (it doesn't even come close, not at all, no confusing this one, no way, no how, blah, blah, blah). It's got every other Microsoft OS (except for 2K) way down on the ladder.
