Dual monitor help

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I recently set up two monitors on my computer. One is off an AGP Geforce 2 GTS, thats my primary one. And the other is off a PCI S3 ViRGE. I have it set up in the Windows display settings to have the one on the PCI card as secondary. What I would like to do is play a movie or something on that monitor while I do work on the primary one. But when I put the WMP or any other player on the secondary monitor, all I get is a blank, black area where the movie should be playing. The sound plays, but I don't see anything. Are there any special settings that i need to change or programs that I need to have to make that work? Thanks for the help.

Some system information would be very helpful.
Have you looked around in the desktop properties for settings like "Extend my windows desktop onto this monitor"? also, try the advanced button and looking for settings about video overlay control or media playback and the like.

Sorry I didn't include any info. I solved the problem thought, had to disable write combining on the secondary adapter and bring down the hardware acceleration over half way. For once the Windows Troubleshooter actually helped me with my problem.
