Ok, my new comp has WinXP, so of course im plagued by windows messenger everywhere I look. So I make my .net passport blah blah, and I look for a friend to add. I find the person, but I cant add because it says .net has a policy not to give out email addresses, but they can send an email telling the person to get windows messenger.....wtf no thanks microsoft. And I know they are the same thing, but I download MSN messenger...well, Windows messenger takes over it right away, and I can log on with my .net passport, but not my hotmail one. So how am I supposed to get itto just be msn messenger, and be able to use my messenger to...well...message people? Somebody help !

Sorry NetRanger, I just took the easy way out and use my ISP for e-mail and deleted windows messenger and that .Net passport thing. Maybe you should do the same, just delete .Net Passport and MSN messenger, then download MSN messenger again and hook it up to your hotmail account. If I am wrong then I am wrong just giving out suggestions. =)
