I am looking to buy a Gforce4 and can't tell much of a difference between them except the price and manufacturer so whats the diff?
This link is what brought about the question. I was realy looking at the ASUS or VisionTech ones. Thx for any help.

There are three types of GeForce4 Ti's and three types of GeForce4 MX's.
It all depends on what you do with your computer. If you play games you want a GeForce4 Ti, the GeForce4 Mx's are ment for businesses.
The main difference between the Ti's are the clock speeds.
Geforce4 Ti4200 64mb-Clock Speed: 225 MHz Memory Speed: 500 MHz (DDR) Band Width: 8.0 GB/S
GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb-Clock Speed: 225 MHz Memory Speed: 444 MHz (DDR)
GeForce4 Ti4400-Clock Speed: 275 MHz Memory Speed: 550 MHz (DDR) Band Width: 8.8 GB/s
GeForce4 Ti4600- Clock Speed: 300 MHz Memory Speed: 650 MHz (DDR) Band Width: 10.4 GB/s
All cards are basically the same. Different manufactures would add different types of cooling and/or different software bundles.

So when deciding between the ASUS or VisionTech I need only look at the extras and price because the both would give the same preformance?

Pretty much yes. I think VisionTek is the better bet because I think it comes with overclocking software.
What card are you looking at?

The two that I am looking at are both gforce 4 Ti 4600's. One was made by ASUS and the other by VisionTech. The link I gave before doesn't seem to work to well. Newegg.com / catalog / video cards/ seach by chipset <if you wanted to look.
The price diff is only a buck and it's free shipping
This card is for a computer i'm building. I have am ASUS board so should I get the ASUS card? or does that not matter?

I would go with the ASUS because with shipping it is $10 cheaper.
If I was to get a Ti4600 I would get a Gainward, but they are a little more expensive.

Everything from ASUS is overclocked to begin with so that's no reason to go for VisionTek at all
