PM Inbox Full Problem...

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Heres the problemo:

I have 4 messages in my PM Inbox. Someone PM'd me and I got an email saying my PM box is full. Now before I could have like 30 messages in there and I could still get messages.

What is the deal?

Hmm...

Does the inbox also count "Sent Items" ?

Yes it does .... to completely empty your private messages, do the following:

1.) First go to your INBOX, and choose "from the beginning" from the dropdown box on the top left. This will show all messages in your inbox.

2.) Check on the box on the top right of the INBOX page (the one to the right of "Date/Time Sent"). This will automatically check all messages. Hit the DELETE button at the bottom right. This will delete all messages in your INBOX.

3.) Next, choose the SENT ITEMS folder in the dropdown list on the top right. Afterwards, choose "from the beginning" from the dropdown box on the top left. This will show all messages you sent.

4.) Do the same procedures as specified in Number 2.

Note that you can consolidate your messages by creating new folders (the same way you can with any free email site like Hotmail or Yahoo). You can create a new folder and then move all your important messages to that folder so that you can clear your INBOX and SENT ITEMS worry-free...

Oops, correction

I changed "from last year" to "from the beginning" as there may be some people who have not purged their inboxes since time immemorial

Yeah, I figured out a little while after my second post that my Sent Items box was overflowing.

Its fixed now
