Unreadable Instructions

So after going out in the 100 degree heat to buy a stationary exercise bike (so I won't have to go out in the 100 degree heat), I get it home, dump out the parts, open the instructions... and this is what I'm confronted with (the first few steps anyway -- and the spelling errors are verbatim, not mine):

Please following the steps to assemble cable and the wires. This is main doing when assembly handlebar with main and frame.

Step 1: Preparing to connecting cable and computer wire. It might be good idea to having someone stand by to holding the handlebar part when necessary.

Step 2: Slide the cable wire into slot of the wire of the connector of the joint bracket. Pull up to let casting stud end of cable wire fix in loop of connection.

Step 3: Pull the connecting cablewire into slot of joint brackete. Be sure securely, to enable copper end of upper cable to jump over the saddle and into the hole.

Step 4 Position the copper end of the upper cable into fixing hole of the joint brackete.

Step 5: Connect the upper computer wire with that the lower computer wire. Push together so that the two are joining securely.

Step 6: Making sure that the cable and the wire are connected correctly. Carefull, put the whole set inside the tube before the assembly.

Thank goodness I'm at least slightly technically inclined.. and that there are pictures.

The worst part? On the box label.. MADE IN USA.

LOL Shalome Been there done that, seems everything today is made else where. At work last week our new Plant Forman stated "that somehow the American Worker has lost his pride in his work!" I said to him,"Maybe it's because corporations don't have pride in themselfs to begin with!" Yea I know pushing it there, but I could not hold back! This was a meeting to discuss a so called new program to help us become more efficient! LOL! Anyway the American Worker still has pride in his work, just scared the company might not need it anymore!

Okay, I've been f-ing around with this darn thing for an hour now.. got rid of the instructions about 20 minutes ago and have made quite a bit more progress since then.

Oh.. and after getting through the first few steps..
"This is main doing when assembly handlebar with main and frame" apparently means "Do this before you assemble the frame and add the handle bars."

Cool. Theemon got a job...hehe

Actually I noticed a lot of stuff that gets made here ends up getting the instructions made in another country. Why the hell a company would operate that way, I'll never know. But it does seem to be somewhat common with assembly required type stuff. My desk from Officemax was that way.

All this sounds like something they'd have at Engrish.com. Those crazy japanese are always mistranslating stuff like that.
