Gonna be a Dad

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Posted by: Heathen

OK... so my wife is pregnant again

This time I have a strong feeling she's gonna keep it.

I'm no expert (I'm a man for starters!!) but she's sicker than hell, keeps puking, has strange cravings, is REALLY horny and the Doc says her hormone levels are great.

So fingers crossed... come February there could very well be a mini-me in the world (what a thought!!)

btw - I'm so freaking happy right about now even Swilo couldn't upset me

Posted by: Shalome

LOL!! At absolutely everything in your post.. LOL!

Congrats, Heathen! The world needs more little heathens running around!

Posted by: Ion Silverbolt

Congrats! And thuroughly take advantage of the horny phase before the cuff off point gets here..hehe

Posted by: Tweaker

Congrats Heathen!

WANNA MAKE A BET, PRETTY BOY?!

Congrats.

Posted by: Kdr Kane

Congrats!

Posted by: tkron

Congrats to you and the Mrs.

Posted by: Ghetto Blasta

Congradulations! The best part about newborns is the chocolate cigars people give you!

Posted by: Heathen

You guyz rule.

Thanx guyz... and as for the horny thing.... yup taking FULL advantage of that one before the get away from me... you did this to me you b***ard phase kicks in.

btw - Swilo - just kidding man... but you knew that!!

Posted by: TheeMon

yeah gratz shag on the mini me heh and ghetto chocolate cigars? people around here allways give out real cigars

Posted by: Fenix2004

Congrats Heathen formally known as Shaggy!

Posted by: Ghetto Blasta

Well, last time I was around when they handed that stuff out I was like 11. So you can understand why I got the chocolate one

Posted by: Ion Silverbolt

Real cigars suck anyway. People who smoke them might as well light turds on fire and smoke them too. Bleh.

Posted by: Tecil

Congrats former Shagman.

Keep us up to date on the progress.

You know they doctor told us to keep "doing it" up until delievery. Seems the hormones help induce labor, so as long as its comfortable, go for it.

Posted by: Shalome

Okay, added to the list of things OTS.net "unofficially" supports -- pregnancy issues! Heh..

the "unofficials" list beginnings...

Posted by: Freak

Gratz

Time to start up that college savings fund

Posted by: redwench

heh, might as well add interior decor and landscaping to the list. ^^

Posted by: Bobaroo

Congrats Shag!!

Hope everything turns out for the best

Posted by: Nfested

Congrats Heathen!

Posted by: TheeMon

ion cigars rock, not cheap ones but the semi expensive ones are kool

Posted by: Heathen

*cough* smokers *cough*

LOL - actually I've just quit... its been 2 weeks now ... how you doing with that Laggy?

Haven't popped a death stick into my maw since June 22 ... I'm holding up and haven't experienced any b-b-b-b-b-b-bad side effects....

Congrats on the possible new family member ... Get your wife some flowers

Posted by: redwench

flowers? its obvious you havent gone through pregnancy and childbirth.

heathen, get your wife an exquisite piece of jewelry in the stone of her choice. the more expensive the better.

Posted by: Canis Lupus

And YOU have?

Flowers seemed to me like a universal sign of love and affection ... not my fault if some women are way past that thought

Posted by: redwench

childbirth requires more than flowers. flowers are what you give her when you have to work late and miss dinner. 9 months of purgatory and 12 hours of hell require that extra something.

Posted by: Canis Lupus

......... wasn't implying that Heathen should give his wife flowers for the entire nine months, was I?

In any case, I say give her what she wants - altho I guess Heathen's already doing that, hehe

Posted by: Ion Silverbolt

Give her lots of Massages! Women love those.

Posted by: Heathen

LOL @ Wench & Laggy...

Massages are currently my wifes thing. That and rubbing her down with coca-butter!?!?!?! Don't ask me????

Posted by: Tweaker

Yes massages work wonders! Even if they are in a bad mood, you can ease the pain with a good massage. Though I try not to be the responsible party. Watch out for mood swings! They can be pretty rough. Candy usually works [chocolate]. If she wants something at 2:00 am then you gotta go get it man! The grocery store is usually empty at that time, yet they stay open all night.

Posted by: Heathen

Yeah... I know I'm gonna be hitting 7-11 or Mac's @ 3am sometime soon for wierd shit.

Still.... it's the least I can do

Posted by: Erekose

heh aye because remember... 'it's your fault. you did this to me (her) you bas***d'

Posted by: Shalome

Cocoa butter and massage helps prevent stretch marks. This is important. USE LOTS -- and often -- on every part that's "expanding." This could also lead to taking advantage of those hormonal rushes.

I highly recommend the following:
Cocoa Body Butter or anything else on this page from the Body Shop. I'm partial to the Mango myself.

And wench, some women aren't into expensive jewelry.. or flowers for that matter. If I'm ever pregnant, the man responsible damn well better take me out to dinners and buy me video games!

Posted by: Heathen

LOL @ Shal

Yeah a friend of her's told me what its all about today (the butter that is... the rest I've kinda figured out already )

Shal... I'm looking forward to the day you meet that special someone... you deserve it .....

.... just make sure ya don't bring him to OTS... we might scare him off.

Posted by: Shalome

Too late, Heathen.. I met him a few years ago in college, and he ghosts around these boards already.
As for the kids thing, well, that's on hold for a few more years.

Posted by: Heathen

Good choice....

.... we've been married 3 years.... together 4 1/2... I'm only 26 but I'm totally ready for kidz....

... just think of all the cool toys I can buy him/her.... and test to see if they work first!!

Posted by: Shalome

Sheesh, wench, just because not everyone is you doesn't mean you should poop all over their joy and desire for children... At 26, a lot of people are ready to settle down and have kids.

Posted by: redwench

um, thats not what i meant shal. everyone says they are ready, but they never really are. ask anyone thats had them.....

That's why a siblings birthday is a happy time! I get to go to Toys R Us and play with all the shiny things so I know just which one to get my sister!

Posted by: Xtren

It's pretty awesome for the little kids though. They don't have to worry about anything, plus they get to live large on action figures and dolls. (depending on the type of little kid)

Posted by: Erekose

heh besides when they are really young the only thing they want is the box anyways. i cant get enough of those sit'n'spins

Posted by: Xtren

Yeah, and remember that they judge the value of the present by the size of the box, so the bigger the better.

Posted by: Fink

That's the time you buy a $5 box thats the size of santa clause, then put a small $3 action figure in it hehehe, then all they do is play around with the box... atleast thats what i did hehehe.

Posted by: Xtren

Yes... that's exactly what I did too....

Posted by: Shalome

With boxes, you can use your imagination more.

Especially if the box is big enough to sit fully inside of (like large appliance boxes). I can't count the number of hours my little brother and I spent with markers, crayons, glue, scissors, and large appliance boxes. They were space ships, cars, our very own TranzorZ robots...

On a side note, nobody ever believes me that there was a show called TranzorZ (Mazinga-Z), so I tried to find links about it.. but the only one I could find that was functional was this really annoying Angelfire.com page.

Posted by: -EG-raynor

ahh the sound of that site annoyed the hell outa me

Posted by: Ghetto Blasta

Traaaaaaaaanzooooor Zeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Posted by: Heathen

Posted by: Xtren

I don't get it either....

Posted by: Shalome

You would if you'd clicked the link about Tranzor Z (Mazinga-Z) in my post.. Or if you'd ever seen the show, which I doubt, since according to your profile, the show went off the air years before you were even born, Xtren...

Posted by: Canis Lupus

Haha, Mazinger Z... I think I watched some of it when I was a little kid ... along with Voltes V, Daimos, Mekanda Robo and Ghetta Robo. Those were the top five mecha anime shown in the Philippines in the late seventies and early eighties

Posted by: redwench

when you said the site was annoying, i took your word for it, and didnt click the link.

it didnt put who it was posted by??

Posted by: TotalRecall

Sorry, i've been gone a couple days...

Congrats!

Posted by: Ghetto Blasta

The only mech anime show I remeber watching was Voltron. The Power Rangers ripped off Voltron like crazy.

Posted by: Tecil

I grew up with Transformers, Voltron, Go-Bots, G.I. Joe, and He-Man.

Thanx man. Once again thanx to all.

btw - Thundercats was the greatest cartoon when I was a kid... I saw an episode the other day and its great!!

Posted by: Rayneeday

Congratulations Shaggy

Having just recently gone through the whole pregnancy thing I have the utmost sympathy for your wife and the utmost joy for her Keep up the massages and jewelry is always a good idea Hide it in the flowers. Also the horny phaze may go away for awhile but if not enjoy up till the end, if it doesnt actually induce labor it sure is fun. I certainly enjoyed that phaze for as long as i could
