that is why you dont use a 22. if shed shot him in the chest with a 9mm or larger, he would have been in no shape to grab the gun from her, much less steal her truck.

hmm maybe its just because i work with the police and all, but what was the point in bringing a gun into the whole situation? understandably if he is attacking you with a weapon you'd want to protect yourself and neutralize the threat with one-upmanship, but to allow the gun to come into close proximity with the attacker? what if he had wrested the gun from her (which he did) and then shot her? a better course of action imho would to have the groom bash him over the head. then she can shoot him all she wants 
oh and shal what need have you of a gun... just show 'em your fangs

Precisely! Actually, I hate firearms. Would never own one. We don't allow loaded ones in our house. In fact, a friend of mine once brought a concealed loaded gun into my house, and when I saw it on him I flipped out. We made him unload it and put it on the table, and he was really pissed off.

dont blame you there. i personally would never take a gun to someones home without their knowledge, and would expect the same consideration from anyone in my home.
