Anybody have strange reactions to weather?
I was walking out of work today, and I saw this thick fog outside. The second I go out the door, my nose is bleeding, as is the back of my throat. My throat is still leaking blood right now (I can cough it up at will), though my nose is fine.
First time something like that has happened. Good thing peroxide takes fresh blood out of a dresh shirt.

hmm, dry air will do that. but ive never heard of humid air causing that kind of problem. unless the fog was of the chemical variety????

Tomorrow, when you wake up, you'll have a a 6th toe, and two noses.

Sometimes when it is very cold out and then I walk into a hot buidling(most of the time school) I would get a bloody noise.
Hasn't happend in a long time though.

Probably induced by the temperature difference if you were in an AC'ed room. The barometric pressure may also have been a factor.

It's cooler inside, but only by about 15 degrees. Pressure was the same.
Bizarre.
Who's got throat spray stuff?

Swilo, AC'd air is very dry, which can easily cause nosebleeds after sneezing/coughing hard. Happens to me all the time. Especially around here, where we've regularly been under ozone and pollution warnings lately, and the air's been thick and non-moving and hazy/smoky for weeks -- you walk out of nice, clean, dry AC'd air into smoggy crap that's hard to breathe, and you choke.
And wench, if the difference between the dry air inside and the humid air outside is big enough, it can make you choke and cough when you first step outside until your throat and lungs get used to breathing it.
What kind of throat spray stuff, Swilo?
