Spiderman meets 400 million dollar mark

Titanic and Star Wars have done this, but only after re-releases. Spiderman claims the title for being the only movie meeting the $400 million mark in just one release. That's pretty damn good, and its only around 2 months after the movie first came out.

Spider-Man owned Attack of the Clones this spring. I still liked Ep 2 though.
I'm hoping the success of Spider-Man will encourage other directors to remain faithful to the comic books and keep the physics somewhat believable. We don't need any more Spawn movies. Or even anything like the last couple of Batman movies for that matter. Ack!

I didn't see the trailer but any movie with Ben Affleck is usually a drag. He wasn't that good of an actor in Pearl Harbor and the Sum of All Fears wasn't that good.

Yeah, I watched the DareDevil trailer at apple.com and it looked hella weak.
The Hulk trailer though, was just a tease and I can't wait.
Hope it's better than that crap from the '70s though.

Well, the trailer I saw where everyone really responded so far in the theaters is the new Matrix trailer ... The moment those green symbols started sliding down the screen, pretty much everyone just cheered...

It was the same way here, when we went and saw Spiderman (or was it Attack of the Clones? Oh well. It doesn't matter.)

Considering that the stupid T3 teaser has shitty effects, that doesn't bode well for the movie. I mean, geebuz, a kid with 4 months playing maya could have topped that trailer.
