Hey guys,
Just had my tonsils out yesterday moring  So i have just woke up =) The demerol they gave me is knocked me out :-p Just wanted to let everyone know im doing ok. And the pain is not that bad. The ICE CREAM and Slushes have been great.
Later peeps gonna go back to bed just took another does of demerol

I had my tonsils taken out when I was in kindergarten. The doctors said they were as big as plums.  I had a sore throat for a while after it...probaly cause I got it done like 10 years ago. They must have found a better way to do it now with less pain.

WB DB. Glad to hear your still alive and kicking.
I had those removed when I was very young...and so, I don't remember it other then siting on the floor in the hospital hallway enjoying some vanilla ice cream.

I had mine out late in life and I had a hell of time. Something I would not want to go through again.

No body part should be removed that won't grow back.
Don't let yourself get spoiled by the meds and ice cream. Suck down 5 glasses of lemon juice a day!

I need to get my tonsils removed, the soft tissue at the back of my throat restructured, and a nose job. This would allow me to breathe through my nose, and would stop me from snoring.
I've been putting it off for.. oh... 20 years now... that's when the doctor first said it needed to be done. They can do a lot of it with lasers now, so maybe I'll be looking into it soon...

Ouch DB, sound painful, only part of me not in me now is Wisdom teeth, and I don't even remember the operation at all. Well, hope you feel better, have an Icecream cookie.

11 years when I had it done they used the old knife and chainsaw When I had them taken out though, I could talk so much easier I remember. I recommend getting it done if you need it, especially now with the technology they have.
