I can see it now, people at work smelling like booze! Mgt. thinking they have been drinking, and sends them for a blood test!

Bah, how is this any different from non-alcoholic beer? You get the taste, but you don't get the buzz ... where's the fun in that? I sure as hell don't just drink beer for the taste

what about me!

You say that now, but if you ever end up in Toronto, I'll treat you to some beer like you've never had before.

McCoy's said its new range know as Lager, Lager crisps offer people the taste of beer without the side effects.

When I was 16, I used to sneak out my window, climb across 60 feet of rooftop (most of which belong to other families), climb 15 feet down a tree and, after meeting up with my homies, go find someone of legal age to buy for me in PURSUIT of these 'side effects'. I love 'side effects' and can't wait until the next time I suffer from 'side effects'.
Nova, you can respond in some blaze' fashion (and you probably will) insisting that you love the taste of beer and beer tastes great and blah-blah-blah. And I have had some really tasty beers in my time. But the situation is as such: most beers that I have had that I enjoy don't taste a thing like what would typically be characterized as 'beer-flavored'. To remain close to the typical beer flavor, the best you can hope for is smooth and tolerable. So, considering that these little buggers are 'beer-flavored', lack the moist quality that I enjoy in a beverage and are still salty enough to create that 'dry-mouthed' sensation that I hate about the day after, I'm gonna sit this one out. . .

Although my drinking experience is somewhat limited by my age....as of now, my beer-goodness-o-meter is moved by how bitter the beer is. If it's extremely bitter (think Bass Pale Ale), then that's a big no-no. If it's way smooth, and not bitter at all (think corona), then I'm good.

Im 19 so I dont drink, but many years ago my dad would let me taste different alcholoic beverages once in a while. My favorite was Corona and another beer I cant remember(Bud Ice I think, or something with "Ice" in the title).
Later that night I ate his liver with some Fava beans and a nice Chianti.

Bah... if you really want that in your face flavor, you should try a cheese puff fizzie...cures every thing from allergies to zits.

The chianti marinated the liver as I swallowed each bite. Such a feast I had, Clarice...

That movie rules, though the sequel sucked ass.

Actually, I'm not a big beer fan. For the most part, I dislike most beers. There are only a select few that I even remotely like, and then only in moderation.
However, you are right. This beer, though labelled beer, doesn't taste much like beer. The only similarity is most likely the brewing process, and core ingredients. It does have some beer flavor hidden away, but it's minor. It's a strong raspberry beer, and it's divine.

I'm the beer master here.
I'll try anything at least once. This reminds me of beer battered items. I especially like beer battered fries, or beer battered Rocky Mountain Oysters.

Ah, there our beer palettes diverge. I like my beer over here, fruit over there. I even avoid Corona and other lighter Mexican beers altogether because they're only enjoyable with a lime. Hell, if I want fruit in my booze, I'll cut out the middle man and order a Cuba Libre, Cape Cod or the occasional Greyhound.
But, on the issue of beer, I'll have something dark. Porters, stouts, lagers. . .if looks like it might be part charcoal, I'm there. I can get by with a Newcastle Brown, which is pretty standard here in the States. Good dark beers are hard to find in a bottle, though. I generally don't drink beer unless a) I'm in a brew-pub or b) it's 2 a.m., the bars are closed and the keg ins't floating yet.

You like Killian's?
How about Shiner Bock?
And newcastle is win. I also like Honey Brown.

I will only drink Fat Tire or local brewed (Frat Branch for you Columbites) Oil Change and Green Chili Beers.

Well, there are a few beers that I generally enjoy, but still, framboise is the shit.

Hey Nova box a sixer of that up and send it to me.
Of course I don't think the boarder patrol would appreciate that. Acctually come to think of it, they probably would enjoy a 10 min. break.
