I don't eat them that much but when I do I like them with preserves or peanut butter.

There should be an option that says "Anything edible" Bagels are the staple of my diet! I'll eat almost anything on a bagel!
btw, did you know they don't have bagels in Finland? There was a Finnish exchange student at my school last year who had no clue as to what a bagel was. She said they dont' have them in Finland and refused to eat them for the longest time as they were funny looking and appeared to be an innuendo in food form.

i prefer mine with cream cheese. usually flavored cream cheese. veg or chive on onion and pumpernickel bagels, pineapple or strawberry on blueberry and cinnamon bagels. of course, plain cream cheese goes well with them all

Other, I prefer a good amount of butter on a hot bagel, and lettting it sit for a few until it gets a chance to melt in.

Cripes! Get this man to a doctor! He's suffering from a sever lack of bagels! (which is a very serious affliction mind you) The only excuse for not having eaten a bagel is living in Finland. Good sir, eat a bagel.
