Smallville Meets Jedi Knight

I remember watching an episode of Smallville awhile ago where one of the characters looked shockingly familiar... and last night I rewatched that episode (my friend lent me a set of Smallville VCDs), and realized why I had that feeling.
This dude, from Episode 11 ("Hug") of Smallville, is named Kyle Tippet.

Well, if that Jedi can use the powers that his alter ego can use in Smallville, then he can probably convince Watto to take his Republic credits by shaking the Toydarian's hand instead of just waving his
