Diablo 2 Screen Error. Please Help!!!

Hi, I recently e-mailed Blizzard Tech support but haven't got a reply
and was wondering if anyone might be able to help me with this. I
recently purchased D2 and installed it but when I ran the game the
screen on the starting movies were black with no video but only sound
and when the "main" menu loaded it's distorted with flshing
lines and such and makes it barely viewable (Looks just like when
your playing a game in a resolution your computer can't handle)
although my computer has 640x480, 800x600, and 1024x768 resolutions.
I downloaded the latest DirectX 8 drivers and updated my S3Trio64V+
drivers for my ASTVision 4n monitor, this enabled me to view the
starting movies clearly, everything works fine untill the main diablo
2 screen loads to start the game...there's just flashing lines again
like a wrong resolution or something, I can kind of see the Diablo 2
logo and them around the fire but it's hard to make out/sounds works
fine also. I've tried everything to try to solve this problem but I
can't figure it out. Can someone Please help me? (I've looked over
all tech support faq's and help and cannot find a solution that works)

1.2GB
32MB
S3Trio64V+
Sound Blaster Pro
32X CD-Rom

p.s. I forgot to mention that I'm useing Direct Draw in my last post there for my Diablo 2 problem. I don't have a 3d card.

Not really a solution you may want, but I would STRONGLY recommend that you upgrade your video card.
Stick around for more suggestions...
