I don't know about the replayability value (except on a harder difficulty for thoose of you who don't play on hard at default ^_^) but Serious Sam ****ing owns.

I'm about halfway (I hope not) through the game and I'm still encountering fun new things.

I had planned on writying some kind of review but actually I'll tell you to go get it and I'm going back to playing.

"AUUUUUUUHHHHHHHH yourself!"

I must say I am damned impressed with this game.

I can see myself going throguh it once or twice more, so it doesn't have a whole lot of replay value but it took me something like 3 hours to beat it, and that's fairly large for an FPS.

some levels impressed the hell out of me, so far the only annoyance I have is that the scale on some of them is so huge you feel kind of like an ant, walking against a huge background feels so slow.

HOWEVER.

FINALLY AN FPS where you swim without a ****ing ankle weight tied to you or something.

you can swim almost as fast as you run, and that's a relief.

so far the only game I can name offhand that does this is Deus Ex with the full swimming upgrades, and even that seemed a bit unrealistic.

Just installed and played the game myself. It is a lot of fun. The background looks absolutely fabulous and the few things that Sam does say are pretty funny. Excellent game, definitely worth getting.
