Warcraft III error

Ok, everytime I open up Warcraft III I get the good on normal main menu. However as soon as I click on battle.net I get an error that says "Unable to validate game version, please reconnect to battle.net or apply the current game patch manually." I have re-installed warcraft atleast 3 times. I have the most up to date version. I have 1.01b or whatever it is. I know this because I installed the patch sucesfully and because on my warcraft menu it says 1.01 in the bottom right corner of my main Warcraft III menu. I get this error with all 4 battle.net location servers. The one that I should use is US West because I am in Southern California. It is Saturday so I can't call tech support until Monday. Please if anyone knows why I get this error please tell me. (yes i have posted this thread several times so I can get the most responses possible)

256 DDR
Direct X 8.1
Geforce 3
Win XP Home
I have a Netgear firewall router

And I see you have also posted the same thing at The Helper forums, so I'll just try to append mine to theirs...
You mentioned you lost your CD, so there's really nothing much that can be done here ... it's suspicious that you witheld that information up to the last minute, not to mention you saying that you "reinstalled it three times" but then say that you lost your CD ...
So this leaves you with no avenue but to buy Warcraft 3 ... again, if it applies...

probably blizzard is probably your best bet on finding out whats wrong ... have u tried the system tool that W3 includes ... maybe it can show u somewthing thats wrong, and since its been no were near 90+ days if somehting is wrong with your CD, blizzard will replace it for free

would be pretty hard to replace a CD that he said he lost and can't find anymore
