i didnt intend for it to have any name of OTS in it, just a clan that was for OTS members, something that every1 liked and such

Clan's are lame. Leave them for the MMORPGs and FPS games.
Most of the OTS crew plays offline, different games, or no games at all, so it isn't really practicle.
Here is a better idea. How about I start a thread for games and ICQ list so you can see who's playing what and that way you can get together to play through ICQ. Makes more sense.

The point is we can play with each other basically anytime we want to, because of this enormous community we have. We don't need a clan or anything to play together, and it really wouldn't make a difference because we can't do anything with a clan that we can do without.

Because as soon as you start a 'clan', and people become 'members', it becomes a status thing. Then people think they are superior than others who aren't, and people get denied entry, and politics ensue.
Clans are always stupid. Even if you give them a fancy name.

For as long as I remember, OTS has rejected the thought of becoming a clan, sinmply because its one of THE most idiotic ideas, ever.

On a side note, TG had a groupish type thing for a long long while on bnet, but I think that pretty much died out.

Because the original idea was to have a Warcraft III clan for Open Tech Support members. The topic has shifted a little bit into the general clan issue though.

the reason i posted in the W3 forum was because most ppl are starting to play W3, and i dont care lvl of experience, and i wasnt going to make it just for ppl on OTS, and if u no me i dont boss ppl around, and there probably wouldnt b the "boss" anways. it b like a chat/gaming clan

It's a new game, and a good amount of the people here at OTS have Warcraft III. Don't even think about posting a "OTS Clan" thread in the NeverWinter Nights forum. You'll get a lot more flames than you got here.

The last 2 D&D games have been bad. Myth Drannor was just a release canidate and most everyone is saying NWN is ok but didn't come anywhere close to the hype it was generating.
I didn't buy either.
