I think he was implying that it had to be out now.

Try:
RtCW
Tribes 2
There are tons of Half-Life Mods that are decent Team games, but most include a lot of cheaters.

Serious Sam 2.

Cheap, and mindless slaughter fun.

Awesome in co-op mode, took me and 3 friends about 6 hours to beat the whole game in one nonstop session.

Maybe this is a stupid question, but what is RTCW

Return to Castle Wolfenstein

Hmmm...I have been playing Tactical Ops Assault on Terror.

It is a mod for Unreal Tournament that resembles CS very much..but I find it plays much better. Looks better as well, and the net code seems to be tighter. I haven't encountered any server problems yet either.

So if you have Unreal Tournament, its a free download. I bought the retail version because I wasn't aware that It was a free download, or even a game that has been our for a year or longer...

A good purchase though.

Yeah Tac Ops is pretty good. I've played it a few times myself.

hehe Actually I got UT just today. Saw it and then saw the price. Next thing I knew it was being installed... =)

Now I just have to find some way to explain the "summer blossom" dish soap i guess I picked up on the way to the register...

just tried SOF2 and the graphics are amazing, and the Multiplayer is grewat, and the graphics run amazingly fast on my old system on high settings

Posted by: SKYHN

I like SOF2 for Deathmatch, but the team mode isnt very good. The Deathmatch Team mode is, but just your standard objective team mode was weak.

RTCW has an MP Demo out if you want to try it. Look for some mirrors on www.planetwolfenstein.com

I just bought SOF2 a few days ago. Still in single play. Game is really tough. Sometimes I just want to give up. I really hate how the enemy can toss grenades at you from 200 yards with 100% accuracy. And I really hate the stupid foliage that they can hide in but you can't hide in.

Blech. Graphics does not make a game.

I tried the Demo of SOF2 and wasn't that impressed.

I tend to like games that have real world weapons in it, but it's too weird shooting someone with a M4 and it takes 10 hits to kill them. In reality 1-2 shots would be more than enough.

Leave the unreality to Unreal/Quake give us a decent real FPS that isn't setup up like Rainbow 6/Ghost Recon. Delta Force was close, but was owned by snipers.

I tried the SP demo of SOF2. Something was really screwed up with it. I had textures on high and in 32bit and it looked like total crap(the boat level). Really turned me off from buying the game.

RtCW rocks, teamplay is almost a must for multi play! I like that!!!

If anyone out there plays America's Army online, lemme know. I love it and would enjoy playing with some people I know.

I got the game, even have to latest patch, but my dialup is so bad right now I can't play it. After I finish the pc upgrade I'll be getting DSL tho so then gaming will continue!
