Ati Radeon 7000 Pci Bus Problems "BIG ONES!!"

So where do i start.........
System Specifications
Hp Pavilion 8665c
600mhz
128mb
intel i810 graphics controller (bastard)
pheonix bios (piece of shit)
185w power supply
Well this is how it goes. I just went out and bought the ati radeon 7000 pci because my comp doesn't have agp. So when i put this card in and started up my system the screen froze at the hp logo screen at the start.
There's no way to remove the intel card or to disable it in the bios it only gives me the option of 1mb to 512k for the onboard video.
My guess and the guess of a few others i've read with the same problem is that my power supply isn't powerful enough to handle the ati since it's only 185 watt cause i heard that once the power flows to the card which gave me the logo screen it sucks the hell out of it which caused the crash......freeze up. This is just a guess a really really convincing guess. So i was just wondering if this guess is good enough for me to go out and buy a new power supply. Or if any of you smart people out there who have been touched by this kind of a problem before wouldn't mind giving there thoughts cause i really don't want to play command & conquer with a 4mb integrated card.
Thank you ever so much for help.

It's just that i've tried everything. I removed the card continuously without any success. I've played in the bios i've played in windows. By the way
OS WINDOWS XP PRO
I even followed the instructions to add a new video card into an hp system by the idiots from hp. (burn in hell hp) and they were no help..............at all. So if anyone has the slightest idea plz oh plz tell me. Thanks

It is possible to disable hardware in device manager.
Just click on the display adapter you want to disable and go to the properties--you find a check box that disables this hardware.

I've tried that and it doesn't work i'm still leaning on the idea that i'm not getting enough power to the card cause it hangs before windows even starts.

Well some people have to deal with what they have because they can't get any better because they're only 12.
