Not enough brass standoffs

I have a new MoBo, Intel D845WN ATX and it has 11 mounting holes, but by some cruel twisted turn of fate I only have 9 brass stand-offs. Is this OK? do I need all 11 mounting screws in or can I get away with 9? I really, really don't want to fry the board. Thanks in advance.

9 should be more then enough. Just be sure that you secure the most important areas of your motherboard that may come under stress such as around your PCI/AGP sockets, your memory section, etc.

Secure the 4 corners as well.

If you are not happy, you can go to a local computer shop and buy a package of brass standoffs. If you do this, may as well buy a package of case screws as well. You can never have enough.
