Its simple sometimes my DVD ROM from sony doesnt wwant to eject but my burner does example sometimes when im in DOS the Dvd rom wont open bu tthe burner will...........

Sometimes DVD drives waits for the DVD or CD to spin down before ejecting, or sometimes it just takes some time. It really depends on what DVD or CD you have in the drive and what programs were using it prior to ejecting it...
