Well, in user options it has the choice to turn off sending an email when someone replys to a post, but i turned it off, and i still get the emails. does the forums atuomatacily overide that, or what?

you may have turned it off, but it would not apply to forum posts you subscribed to prior to turning it off...
Check your User CP again ... all the threads you subscribed to should show up at http://www.opentechsupport.net/foru...&daysprune=1000 ... there is an unsubscribe link below each of them ... click on each one until there is nothing left...

When you reply there is a checkbox for email notfication. It could still be checked.
