.MIX ----What the??

Anyone know of any free programs (even free trials) that i can use to open a .mix file ???


I am sure that it is an image, and i have seen it shown in preview on the side in windows explorer but it has gone, and i cant find anything that will open it

P.S. - This is on a Win 98 machine

Here's Microsoft's explanation of what a .mix file is (looks like it's an Office 2000 PhotoDraw file format):

And here's information on how to use their " 'save for use in' wizard" so you can actually use and view the .mix file:
