the case of the teleporting jellyfish

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

the evidence: a tropical species of jellyfish, craspedacusta sowerbyi, normally found in the amazon river, has recently appeared in a landlocked lake in yorkshire england. no apparently reasonable explanation for this occurence exists.

/me is seen in the background, performing experiments tying jellyfish to swallows.

Is that an English swallow or African?

Posted by: JANNA

probably someone that lives there dumped em in when they found out they dont work in their tropical aquarium

Agreed.

They where introduced there by some local inhabitant who most certainly won't come forward after that story hit the news.

A mystery? yeah right.

Posted by: redwench

i was just trying to arouse interest and amusement. im well aware of how they got there.

Teleporting....dropped in the lake by locals....pfffftt! I'm sure they took a plane from a local airport from the Amazon River to Yorkshire and decided the local body of water was much nicer and predator free than the Amazon.
